Description
An open audition for anyone who is a member or who is pursuing membership and is interested in using musical gifts and talents to serve the Park Church family.
Park Church Music exists to help our church rehearse the story of God, while also engaging with the God of the story. Our aim is to to be "Un-distractingly Excellent"—creating space for Gospel-centered, beautiful, intentional worship. We want the members of this team to be competent in their musical craft, actively engaged in the church community, and committed to walking with character and integrity.
While auditions can be an uncomfortable experience, we hope this evening provides a straightforward way to get connected and determine whether you might be a good fit for this team. Once you submit an application, we will send you more info on how the evening will look, including which song(s) you'll be auditioning with. We'll have a band ready to play alongside you and a small panel of other Park Church Music participants will be in the room to take notes. Within a week, we will give you one of the following answers: a.) Yes - we'd love for you to join, or b.) Not yet - we think you need to grow in specific areas before reassessing. Our hope is to help you grow in your craft regardless of whether the answer is "yes" right now!
