Kids’ Sunday Worship:
September 20

Good Morning Park Kids! Today we are learning from 1 Samuel 1-3.

Today we will learn about Hannah and how she wanted to have a baby. She went to the tabernacle and prayed, “God, if You give me a son, I will give him to You.” God answered Hannah’s prayer and gave Hannah a son named Samuel. Hannah dedicated Samuel to the Lord and brought him to Eli the Priest to learn God’s commandments. Samuel lived with Eli in the tabernacle and each year, Hannah brought Samuel a robe. One night while sleeping, Samuel heard someone calling his name. He thought it was Eli, but it was God! God gave Samuel a special message. God was with Samuel and made him a messenger!

Jesus is our messenger! He brought us the message of the Gospel. This is our first Sunday with a new Bible Memory Verse and Big Picture Question. The new Big Picture Question is, “Is there anything greater than God? No, God is greater than anything!” and the new Bible Memory Verse is Jeremiah 10:6.

For the activity video, you will need notecards, a pen, a cup, paper, and coloring materials.
