Sometimes Scripture seems to be at odds with the reality of life. What do we do? Do we deem Scripture to be untrue, unreliable, or out-of-touch, or do we dig deeper for understanding?
Every part of Scripture must be understood within the whole. Its larger story helps us to make sense of smaller parts of the Bible and make sense of our own stories. As we grow in understanding the story of Scripture, we come to understand both why our lives will never be without struggle and why we have unshakable hope for the future!
