GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Office Coordinator is a full-time administrative staff role within the Operations Team that primarily serves in three areas. This person oversees our communication systems, facility care, and building hospitality; coordinates our staff systems and rhythms; and supports our centralized ministries and teams.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

COMMUNICATION & FACILITY HOSPITALITY

  • Uphold hospitable environment at the Park Church building through physical presence during normal office hours and maintaining an orderly and clean building
  • Order and stock supplies for the copy room, Sunday services, and general building use
  • Manage communication systems including Church Community Builder (CCB), our central phone line, incoming mail, and email correspondence
  • Coordinate with contract facility workers including Events Coordinator, Cleaning Team, and Landscaping/Snow Removal
  • Oversee routine facility care and special service setup including Easter, Advent, etc.

STAFF SYSTEMS & RHYTHMS

  • Coordinate for staff meals, events, meetings, and retreats
  • Plan and delegate to honor staff milestones and celebrations such as birthdays, anniversaries, and births
  • Assign and plan for staff responsibilities during Sunday services
  • Work with Director of Operations in the onboarding process of new employees

CENTRAL MINISTRIES & TEAMS

  • Assist and coordinate Sunday service teams, including Gospel Community serving, Scripture Readers, Setup/Teardown, Security, and Sunday Hospitality
  • Facilitate communication and logistics for centralized Teams form and lay—led ministries (e.g., MomLife, Alpha, Prophetic Ministry, etc.)
  • Carry out logistics and support for central events (e.g., Family Meetings, Member BBQ, etc.)

MISC. PROJECTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work as an integrated member of the Operations Team to administratively serve our church body as tasks and needs arise
  • Step into other various projects and responsibilities as capacity allows

REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS

  • Affirms and supports Park Church’s theology, theological vision, values, and philosophy of ministry
  • Knowledge of general office duties and protocol
  • Computer knowledge and software application skills
  • Multi-tasking, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues, maintaining confidentiality regarding church information
  • Ability to maintain a welcoming and helpful attitude towards visitors, callers, etc. Ability to communicate winsomely and develop positive, loyal relationships with others Attend Sunday Services (with the exception of PTO and Restore Sundays) Approximately 40 hours per week (Sunday-Thursday)
  • Working Genius of E and/or T strongly preferred (What is the Working Genius?)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $38,000–42,000 Annual Starting Pay
  • 17 days per year of paid time off (maximum of 6 Sundays)
