GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Park Church exists to make disciples of Jesus for the glory of God and the joy of all people. A disciple is someone who has been reconciled to God by grace and is learning to follow Jesus in rhythms of worship, community, and mission.

The Community, Formation, and Missions team exists to connect people to the life of our church and to create contexts in which they are formed and equipped as holistic disciples of Jesus for engagement in God’s mission. We do this primarily through Pastoral Meetings, Classes, Seminars, Conferences, Gospel Communities, Men’s and Women’s Formation Events, Mission Partnerships, and Advocacy Teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for and speaks into the various areas of our team’s oversight: Connections, Membership, Community, Formation, and Missions
  • Facilitates internal and external communication for our team’s initiatives and events
  • Coordinates logistics, supplies, and scheduling for our team’s initiatives and events
  • Sustains, improves, and at times creates processes for our team’s ministries
  • Works with and coordinates staff and non-staff leaders and team members to run events
  • Engages as a logistical and relational host for many of our team’s events
  • Operates as a part of our broader leadership team, participating in the rhythms of our culture and life together

  • Healthy engagement with authority and with teammates
  • Clarity, effectiveness, and promptness in written and oral communication
  • Skill at team management, calendaring, and ordering

Standard Meetings & Time Commitments

  • Staff Worship (Weekly, Tuesday mornings)
  • CFM Team Meetings (2-3x/month)
  • 1:1 Meetings with Supervisor (1-2x/month)
  • Staff Development Meetings (Quarterly, Tuesday mornings)
  • Regular evening events and some midday events (Various)
  • Retreats, Conferences, etc. (TBD)

Expectations and Compensation

  • 15–20 Hours per week
  • $20–22 per hour
