Premarital Courses : Park Church offers premarital courses bi-annually which consist of four 90-minute sessions with several other engaged couples. Presented from a Christian worldview, the courses cover the definition of marriage as God designed it, conflict resolution, exploring family of origin influences, and an opportunity for interaction with a panel of couples who have marriage experience. There is no requirement to be part of the Park Church community to enroll and attend and all are welcome. Please refer to the Events Page for upcoming courses.

Premarital Counseling : While weddings focus on visible details, a strong marriage is built through intentional reflection, honest conversation, and spiritual and emotional readiness. Our premarital counselors invite couples to slow down and look beneath the surface at the beliefs, expectations, and patterns they bring into their relationship.

Using the research-based SYMBIS Assessment, couples explore key areas that shape lifelong marriages, including communication, conflict, personality, family background, finances, intimacy, faith, and emotional health. Attention is also given to potential challenges such as stress, unrealistic expectations, or unresolved past experiences. The purpose of premarital counseling is to provide couples with insight, grace-filled guidance, and a solid foundation for growing together in understanding, commitment, and love.
