How to Study Your Bible Begins (Four Weeks)

Welcome to a four-week exploration into the beauty, significance, and practice of studying your Bible for everyday life. During our four weeks together, we'll focus on the following topics:

Week One: How our self-revealing God gave us the Scriptures as an invitation to understand the grand story He is telling, to relate to Him personally, and to see ourselves and the world in line with His vision—all for our joy.

Week Two: What the basic principles of hermeneutics and exegesis (fancy words for interpreting the Bible as God intended us to) assist and strengthen our practical understanding and application of God's Word.

Week Three: Engage with others in the rich practice of studying the different parts of your Bible, allowing God's voice to guide, shape, convict, and lead us in accordance with the grace and truth of the Scriptures.

Week Four: Explore the sweet interplay between study and affection in how you read the Bible and consider how praying the Scriptures and daily time in the Word are ancient yet relevant practices for us today.

Sundays, September 10–October 1. 10:45am–12:30pm in the Upstairs Classroom. $35 for Materials, including an ESV Study Bible. If you already have an ESV Study Bible, the materials cost is $15. Childcare is available through Park Church.
