Advent is a special opportunity for individuals and households to create rhythms for remembering Jesus' first coming and longing for His return.
To help you or your family prepare for the season, we are hosting an Advent wreath-building event at the Park Church building on Sunday, November 22. The Advent wreath is a historical church tradition that helps us observe the season week by week. Your wreath will compliment an Advent worship guide we're creating which includes wreath-lighting readings that are in-step with the Scripture and messages from each Sunday in Advent. The guides intentionally keep kids and teens in mind so they can be a tool for the whole household, creating paths for parents to talk with their kids through what they themselves are learning.
This event will be socially distanced and follow all local guidelines. Please sign up for a start time between 1 and 4pm (see link below). This event costs $10 to help cover the materials.
If you do not feel comfortable or are unable to attend this in-person event and would like to create a wreath at home, you can choose to pick up the materials to complete at home. If you already have a wreath, just keep your eyes out for Park Church's Advent guide and follow along each Sunday!
