Grace Marriage explores various aspects of marriage through grace-filled Biblical material in a fun, curated setting with dinner and drinks. This date night series is designed for husbands and wives in any stage of marriage. Imagine it is a date night with purpose—a chance to grow closer, learn, and celebrate your marriage throughout the year.

What will we do?

At Grace Marriage, we'll explore different aspects of marriage through Biblical, grace-based materials, while prioritizing time for you to talk with your spouse and explore ways to enrich your relationship. You'll sit a table with several other couples and engage with them as well, returning to the same group for each of the four sessions.

Is this like Marriage Counseling?

Grace Marriage can best be described as "Marriage Coaching," an intentional and proactive approach to refocusing on the Gospel and on the positives in your relationship. They are far removed from the formality of lectures or the intensity of therapy sessions—think of them as fun, strategic date nights recurring tune-ups for your relationship!

Some FAQ's

Why does this cost $350?

At its most basic level, the fee covers things like materials, dinner, drinks, decor, and more for four different nights. This is probably less expensive than four normal date nights (depending on how you date!). It's also less expensive than the typical marriage retreat after registration, hotel, and food.

That said, we encourage you view this less like a practical expense and more like an investment in your marriage. We believe Grace Marriage is an intentional commitment to growing in your relationship with each other and the Lord. Over the course of the year, your investment to that end would be cost than $1 a day. Is that worth trying?

Can I pay a deposit?

Yes, to secure your spot, you can put a $100 deposit down, then pay the remaining balance by Wednesday, February 18 when registration closes. You will receive an email about completing your payment if choose this approach. Your deposit will be refundable until registration closes.

Are Scholarships Available?

While we encourage you to view this as an investment in your marriage, there are several ways to receive scholarship to assist with some of the cost. Contact julie@parkchurchdenver.org for more information.

Will there be Childcare?

Childcare will not be offered for two reasons7mdash;because of the length of our time together and becuase we want couples to be able to focus on each other without feeling the need to check on the kids down the hallway. We encourage you to consider the sessions as an extended date—time for the two of you.

However, while childcare is not being provided, we have some suggestions to help with finding care:

    Ask singles or dating couples in your Gospel Community to consider spending time with your children so you can attend Grace Marriage. We will also be encouraging those in Gospel Communities to pair up and offer to watch the kids of couples in their group who will be attending. Consider sharing childcare costs with another couple and having your children play togther while you attend. Swap date-night care with friends who are not attending Grace Marriage. Ask us about our list of available high schoolers and college students who babysit by reaching out to julie@parkchurchdenver.org. You can also reach out with the name and number of your own high schooler who is looking for babysitting work! Lastly, a small fund is available to those who could use assistance with the cost of childcare. Contact julie@parkchurchdenver.org for information.
