Poverty & Homelessness
The Public Square is a recurring event where take up a particular topic relevant to our cultural moment, engaging it in a way that leads to meaningful action. Our last Public Square was in February, discussing poverty and homelessness. Whether or not you attended that, please engage this with us! As a next step, four of our partner ministries have created ways for us to join them in their work this spring.

A NIGHT WITH FULLY LIBERATED YOUTH (F.L.Y.)
Monday, April 4 • 6:30–8:30pm Park Church Building
F.L.Y. seeks to restore dignity and foster relationships with incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, and high-risk young people. Join us to learn more about their work, to hear stories from the people they serve, and to be educated around some of the systems and structures affecting the marginalized in our city.
RSVPPROVIDENCE NETWORK COMMUNITY DINNERS
Starting Monday, April 11
Providence Network provides "transformational housing" for people experiencing homelessness. Join us as we get to know their live-in staff and community, building relationships over dinners.

Tuesdays, May 12, June 14, & August 9 • 12–1pm • CrossPurpose (3050 Richard Allen Court)
CrossPurpose is a non-profit organization seeking to abolish relational, economic, and spiritual poverty through tuition-free career training and community development. At a Lunch and Learn, you will learn more about CrossPurpose and walk in a Leader's shoes, experiencing what obstacles our students face as well as the support that they receive. Lunch will be provided.
RSVPONGOING SERVICE WITH THE DENVER RESCUE MISSION
The Denver Rescue Mission provides beds, meals, career programs, and recovery programs for people experiencing homelessness. Daily service opportunities are open at several locations. To learn more and connect with others serving, visit the page mentioned above.
