Family Ministry Coordinator

What are your responsibilities? I oversee all aspects of Park Kids including volunteers, lessons and classrooms. From Sunday safety protocols to monthly volunteer schedule, I’m in the weeds of details surrounding Park Kids. I also plan our main events like VBS. I mainly focus on equipping volunteers to love kids the way God does. It’s the best job. My prayer is for every child at Park to know God’s grace and to grow in the gospel all the days of their lives. Family? My mom and step dad live in Idaho and my dad and step mom live in Arizona. My five siblings live all over! I love my big family. Where are you from? I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. I’ve been in Colorado since 2011. Education & Experience? I have a BA in youth ministry, theology and biblical studies from Colorado Christian University. I worked with a parachurch youth ministry and intercity children’s ministry for two years. I spent summers working for Youthfront in Kansas City before starting my job at Park in 2014. What hobbies/interests outside of work? I come alive for conversations about culture, friendships and burritos. I give great podcast recommendations, can talk your ear off about movies and I’m equal parts home body & travel junkie . Vinyls, puzzles, cycling and hosting dinner parties are my main vices in life. High Point Creamery > any other ice cream in Denver.
