What are your responsibilities?
I see to the day-to-day operations of the church as an office: overseeing housekeeping, ensuring things stay tidy and organized throughout the building, ordering supplies, printing, laundry, and anything else that needs to get done. On the admin side of things, I process people into Gospel Community Groups, process new members, manage the Scripture Reader team, and help with events.
My family is really scattered. My mom lives in Olathe, KS, and I’ve got sisters in Rogers, AR and Houston, TX.
Where are you from?
Born and raised in Vermont, then went to boarding school (The Stony Brook School) on Long Island, NY; after graduating high school I moved around a lot, and have had addresses in Michigan, Wisconsin, Montana, Texas, North Carolina, back to Texas (Denton, to be specific), and I’ve lived in Denver since June of 2018.
Education & Experience?
The Medical Arts School – Massage Therapy, Colorado Christian University – Associate of Arts, 15 years experience in the admin/office/marketing field.
What hobbies/interests outside of work?
I love stories! Reading, watching, or writing them. I’m not big on self-help books, but if it’s got a good plot line and some clever dialog, I’m all in. Also love being outdoors, which is the primary reason I moved to Denver. I’m low-key obsessed with the mountains, and am up in them whenever I get a chance.
