What are your responsibilities? I oversee Park Kids and Park Teens which includes kids 0-18 years . Parents are the primary disciplers of their kids and I love that my job is to partner with them and to equip them to do the good work of discipleship at home. Family? I’m married to Josh, the love of my life. We have two wonderful children, Josiah and Levi. Where are you from? I’m from Orange County, California. We moved to Denver in 2016 and have quickly fallen in love with this city! Education & Experience? I attended Biola University in California where I received my degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Biblical Studies. I received my credential as an elementary teacher and worked with kids in 1st grade, 3rd grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade over my years teaching in the classroom. My husband was a pastor of students and discipleship for 10 years. I lead alongside him as a girls leader for teens and worked on staff doing administrative tasks as well. The common thread through it all has been that each of my experiences have allowed me to serve and love kids, teens, and families. What hobbies/interests outside of work? I love being a wife and mom, and as a result a lot of my time outside of work is focused on doing that well. I like good food and drink. Nothing can beat good Mexican food. I love the beach and the mountains. There’s nothing like the ocean. I spend most of my free time cooking, traveling, skiing, doing creative projects, and spending time with friends and family.
